Educational Objectives
PEO1.Provide students with the ability to have wide knowledge in the basic concepts of business and employ that in the real life.
PEO2.Contribution in developing the Business and Electronic Commerce uses, reflecting the harmony with the contemporary environment.
PEO3.Provide the labor market with qualified cadres have an integrated structure of skills and knowledge which qualifies them to be at the forefront of competitors.
PEO4.Enable students to develop alternatives and discriminate between them as well as choose the best alternative using the Electronic Business forms.
PEO5.Keeping pace with the contemporary technology in developing the students’ analytical abilities and skills.
Student Outcomes
a.Define the fundamental concepts of electronic business/commerce applications and identify both current and future trends.
b.Define the benefits, risks, costs and time-scales linked to new strategic electronic business/commerce.
c.Outline the role of emerging information technologies in integrating electronic systems in an organization.
d.Discuss legal, security, privacy ethical, political and infrastructure issues of existing electronic business/commerce applications.
e.Apply the key processes for the development and implementation of electronic commerce web/mobile applications.
f.Distinguish the major revenue models of electronic commerce/business.
g.Evaluate major electronic commerce payment systems.
h.Evaluate the requirements of e-commerce users.
i.Analyze electronic business/commerce strategies and technologies and identify alternative strategies and technologies.
j.Evaluate electronic business/commerce strategies and applications, including online marketing, E-Government and global E-Commerce.
k.Design, implement, and assess an electronic commerce application to address the requirements of a business and its users.
l.Develop electronic business sales and marketing plans.
